I 34 Italians killed in Afghanistan are definitely among the best young that Italy can boast. The spirit of sacrifice and dedication demonstrated daily in their duty to place them on a moral level higher than the incomparably politicians who sent them to fight that war. Obviously the same
applies to humanitarian workers that our country sends there and elsewhere in the world also look at life with a perfect seal which is now rare in the vast majority of our society.
Any attempt to contrast these two ways, different but complementary, to put our lives on a higher plane, not restricted to their immediate advantage, be refused. And we reject anyone who now tries to put his life in a dimension that an c least he transcends the individual selfishness deserves our utmost respect it, especially when it's ready to stake his life for this.
A different issue is the political motivation that is given to this sacrifice of our ministers to the statements that follow one another in each of these occasions of mourning and pain, are in fact pure lies.
